My grandmother, Hjh Fatimah bte Hj Mat, passed away exactly a week ago on the 30th of September, 2009, at 10.30PM in the SICU, RIPAS. Al-Fatihah.
Sigh, the family and I broke down so many times. It was very tough, especially for my grandfather. He's still hurting, for sure. She suffered a lot during the whole month, so I am glad she can rest in peace now. We have a feeling she knew it was her time though. 40 days man. Exactly 40 days.
This is my first time experiencing this; losing her on the spot, going through the ceremony, being there when she was buried. Everything. The day she passed away, I couldn't even be in the same room as her. It was too much to bear. Now, I can't even go to the area in my house where she was "cleansed." This may take a while to adjust. I wonder if it'll be tough entering the house di Muara now.
I recall memories like sleeping in my grandparent's room when I was a kid, waiting for her when everyone else has walked too far, her being in the garden, her owning the guest room which we call "Nini's Room", her sleeping in my room when I was living in London, and etc. It's going to be very different now.
Ah.. man, I haven't cried for 5 days and I just did the water works after typing that.
But you know, Nini passing away actually brought the family quite close again. It feels like old times; like "family". I hope it's not for the moment; I wish it will be like this as long as we're all still standing here.
If you guys could be a darl', please pray for her. It would mean the world to me. *smiles*
Laters.

Chapter 128: The Huge Operation
Hey guys, I'm currently in the hospital, RIPAS, at the moment.
The reason why I'm here is because I'm waiting until my grandmother's operation is done and hope it's a success. I'm sure it will considering how determine my grandmother is.
I've only discovered yesterday that the tumour she has near her I-forgot-what-the-other-internal-organ-is-called is actually malign. In case you didn't know, it means the tumour is cancerous.

I can't really explain it that well since I'm made of fail when explaining these sort of things, but all the lines you see across some organs are actually going to be cut and operated on, or so I've been told.
Anyways, I'm not sure if my grandmother knows the "lump" is actually cancer. I really wish she'll recover as soon as the operation is done.
I'll be staying almost the whole day in the hospital. Please pray for her.
Also, happy starving and dehydrating for a month, guys!

Diagram done by one of the doctors. Sorry for the bad quality; taken by phone camera.

Chapter 127: BRIDEX
I've got so much to tell you guys, but I just haven't gotten to time to sit and type it out or didn't have the mood to blog.
School has been pretty swell. First few days were lonely, but when I was put into the Drama Club, I made quite a few friends. I've also gotten used to my classmates who are all boys. Oh, and my guess what correct; I am the youngest in the class yet again. Go me!
With Kaka Putih's wedding going on, we've been going to Bukit almost every night. Karaoking, Bingo, poco-poco all night long. Honestly, poco-poco is so.. 2 years ago. Why the hell is it making a come-back? Plus, it's not meant to be practiced, it's supposed to be for good fun. Anyways, with this whole thing going on, it has made me sleep-deprived and hard to eat the next day, haha. Well, what can you do? I'm glad I get to experience this though, since I've never attended a Malay wedding from the beginning (the first function) until the end. Tonight will be the last function, so woo!
Today, I actually went out with San, Azmi, and Shamsol to BRIDEX in the morning because apparently they bought the morning ticket when we were supposed to go in the afternoon. It's a good thing we got those instead because they had the demonstrations in the morning only. Man, the first demonstration made me feel like a video game especially with the sound effects playing in the background, haha. Perhaps next time I'll post up the video I took. Bleh, it's such a pity I couldn't use a proper camera. Ah well. Funny thing is that I actually spotted one of the army guys hiding out in the tree before the show and when I pointed that out to my classmates, they couldn't see him until he got out from the tree. Maybe I've got a keen eyesight. *puts up specs* Haha.
After both demonstrations, we headed for the Expo. I actually got to meet some of my cousins, Abang Zuwairi, and even Rif. Damn, he was so cruel. He ignored me and when he was talking to me, he kept on punching me. Haha. Anyways, I didn't get to see Sar at work. Sayang.
Later on, San really wanted to treat us for lunch, so we head off for Kaizen Sushi Restaurant (sp?) in Kiarong. Man I had quite a good laughs there. San is really a funny guy.
Shamsol sent me home and I went to sleep. The end!

Chapter 126: Kerang
Because I smell like it right now. Haha.
Hey guys, I'm finally in Brunei! I came back a few days ago.
In case you guys didn't know, I was actually in Jakarta when the suicide bombing happened. It was like, 15 minutes drive from where I was at when it happened. No, I didn't hear to bombs exploding and stuff. Plus, I was asleep. Haha.
It shook me up, to be honest, but I wasn't panicking. It's crazy stuff though, I can tell you that. We were quarantine because they were scared it might happened where we were staying since we had a lot of foreigners in the building. Yeah.
Now I understand why all those security checks have been made before we entered a shopping mall. We're all safe and sound, so do not fret.
Anyways, I'll catch you later.
P.S. I'm going to need some of you guys' numbers.

Chapter 125: Balik Kampung
So here's the deal.
We're going to Brunei on the 10th of July and arriving on the 16th of July.
No, we have NOT received our letter to go back to Brunei for good; however, me and Kaka are going back to Brunei to study, so me and her will be the one returning to Brunei for good.
I'm going to miss the culture here: I think especially the food. Haha.

I'm definitely going to miss my friends here. I'd say a lot of meaningful things, but there's just too much to say and I get the feeling I wouldn't be able to express it well. So, yes, I'll miss you guys.
Also, RIP MJ. I heard it last night from my mom.

I really love his music. I grew up with it and heck, I still listen, sing, and even dance to his songs 'til this very day. For real.
BILLIE JEAN, IS NOT MY LOVERRR.
Anyways, that's all I wanted to say. Take care!

Chapter 123: Circle Diplomatic Gala Night
Last night I had to perform for the Circle Diplomatic Gala Night. One of the princesses of Morocco requested an Indonesian dance and we gave her two: one performed by the children and by the aunties and I. It sure was tiring! Well worth it though.
We heard that the princess left after our performances even though there were other performances going after ours. That must've said something, right?

Me, Auntie Rury, and Auntie Rini. We sure are fabulous!
I managed to upload the video my mom took eventhough she wasn't allowed. Ah well, no harm done!
Enjoy!
